Hi Folks,
Thank you all for picking up the packages and Mrs. Mitchell and I made last week. In the package is an individual novel study for students to work on. This means you can choose a novel that you find interesting or intriguing. Each week you are responsible for completing a response journal for your novel. These are designed to give me some insight into your reading and help students become more active readers. This will be an ongoing record of your reading and hopefully lends itself well to a home learning environment.
Before you start: Part 1
Your first job of course is to find a novel that you want to use for the novel study. Once you have made your choice the first is to complete Page 1 (Reading Journal Novel). This page is to give me an overview of what novel each student is reading. Please complete the page and send it to me by Friday.

- Read the first chapter
- Look at a review online
